Energy Deal is a price comparison and advisory service determined to find you a better electricity and gas deal. We want to make a difference, our unique model compares your current retailer up against our panel of retailers to see if we can get you a better deal.
We understand the amount of hardship Australian’s face on a day-to-day basis as a result of increasing living expenses and of course energy bills.
Why we're faced with price hikes?
1. Average household consumption has increased. People are buying more air-conditioners and big screen TVs than ever.
2. Infrastructure (that is, Poles and Wires), need to be upgraded and maintained to help cope with increased consumption and population. It’s a domino effect; distributors pass their expenses onto retailers who subsequently pass them onto you the customer.
3. 20% renewable energy target of 2020. Australia has a renewable energy target, which requires significant investment in building and modifying infrastructure.
